In a decision from February, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario said Stefan Joseph Konosovich is being suspended for six months after a review of his medical misconduct, which included a patient's death. After a nerve blocking procedure, he was explicitly ordered to stop performing, but he kept doing them anyway. The doctor with clinics in Newmarket, Toronto and Hamilton was previously facing allegations of incompetence in 2022. By the way, here's a fun fact. Ontario doctors rarely get punished. According to the CPSO's own documents, out of every complaint received, 0.06% are actually convicted.
